Are you interested in pursuing a pre-health career? Are you thinking about a health-related program after undergrad? Do you want to gain insight into the admissions process? Do you want to hear from professionals or admissions reps in your field?
Iowa State is excited to host the first annual Pre-Health Conference on Saturday, February 20th, 2021. This student-managed event is sponsored by the Student Activities Center, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and ISU Student Government.
Any student interested in a pre-health profession, such as medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc., is welcome to attend! There will be resources for students of all of the above interests. This event will provide unique networking opportunities with professionals, panels of experienced students and professionals, and keynote speakers on various topics. Our list of speakers and panelists include graduate students, doctors, dentists, physician-assistants, and more. Finally, there is an opportunity to speak with admissions representatives from programs all over the country to learn about individual programs in your field of interest. For any student pursuing a career in health or medicine, this conference is the ideal opportunity to learn from professionals and further explore the various fields of health-focused careers.
On Saturday, February 20th, 2021, from 9am-4pm, the conference will be held over Zoom in a virtual format. Registration for the conference is REQUIRED, but the cost of attendance is FREE!
Pre-Registration for the event opens on January 25th, and ends on February 13th.
Late Registrations are accepted until February 18th.
