About Gladys Nortey

Gladys Nortey is a results-driven digital transformation leader with over 20+ years work experience finding solutions in the areas of B2C/B2B Digital & Product Marketing, Strategy, Change and Project Management for various Silicon Valley technology companies; Yahoo!, Canal+ Technologies, Altera, SchoolMessenger, Vocera Communications, Nice Advertising, Datafinity Group/Adobe, Intapp, Intuit and Veritas Technologies.

Along with her corporate affiliations, Ms. Nortey served as an adjunct professor of Advertising at San Jose State University where she led her students to win the PepsiCo Mountain Dew Dewmocracy WhiteOut video challenge in 2010. The student team produced a national TV/online commercial for the PepsiCo Dewmocracy campaign ($220K).

Ms. Nortey was a student-athlete on the Women’s Track & Field team. She received her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees from Iowa State University’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication. She served as a member of the Iowa State University Greenlee School of Journalism Advisory Council from 2016-2019. Ms. Nortey has held various memberships on the American Advertising Federation (AAF). She was President of the Silicon Valley AAF chapter from 2008-2010 and has judged several local ADDY award shows.

She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified Scrum Master (CSM). She is a member of the PMI Silicon Valley and PMI Ghana chapters. Nortey is also a career coach and mentor. She currently resides in San Jose, CA and leads her consultancy firm NorteySolutions.
