One of the first things you have to do on a new job, even before you start, is negotiate the terms. Salary is part of it, but there are many other factors that come into play. Things like starting date, benefits, job title, and so on can become part of the negotiation. This session will discuss how to set the conversation up for success, and how to negotiate well for what you want. Specific strategies will be discussed, as well tips for getting practice before the big day.
