The Houston Independent School District’s Teacher Recruitment Team is looking to connect with potential teaching candidates interested in teaching out-of-state post graduation.

This event is open to all education majors Freshman-Senior, including Masters program candidates.

During the 15-30 minute at the top of the hour, (reoccuring) information presentation the Houston ISD Teacher Recruitment team will cover the following:

  1. Learn more about Houston ISD and the city of Houston, TX
  2. How Houston ISD supports it’s teachers, students, and community
  3. Compensation and incentives for new educators to Houston ISD
  4. The process to transfer your out-of-state teaching license to Texas

The team will conclude by providing a brief Q&A.
